Congress for the Cyprus libraries “The role of the library in 21st century”
Cyprus Library organized the first congress for the Cyprus libraries “The role of the library in 21st century”, which took place at the Conference Center in Nicosia on the November 2nd 2001. The event was attended by more than 130 delegates, library directors and libriarians from all the libraries of Cyprus.
The congress covered many important issues related to the libraries’ history in Cyprus and their future as well, the Cyprus libraries co-ordination and partnership and the role of Cyprus library as the national library.
